The Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land strongly condemned the desecration of an image of the crucified Jesus in a Lebanese village, calling it a grave offense against the Christian faith and noting similar incidents in the region. They called for immediate disciplinary action, accountability, and firm assurances that such acts will not be repeated, while renewing their appeal to end the war.
Cracks are appearing in Keir Starmer's Cabinet as he comes under mounting pressure over the Peter Mandelson affair. In an extraordinary parliamentary hearing on Tuesday, a mandarin sacked by the Prime Minister revealed the 'atmosphere of pressure' created by No10 to approve the New Labour grandee as ambassador to the US, as well as its 'dismissive approach' to security vetting. And the scandal took another turn when Sir Olly Robbins revealed that Downing Street had secretly tried to give another plum diplomatic job to Sir Keir's spin doctor. In a stinging criticism of the PM's judgment, Energy Secretary Ed Miliband publicly admitted he had been against giving Mandelson the prestigious Washington DC posting, well before it was known he had failed his security clearance test. Asked what he had thought about the appointment at the time, Mr Miliband told Sky News: 'That it could blow up, that it could go wrong. I had a conversation with David Lammy about it before the appointment, …
Spanish Serial Killer Moved to Women’s Prison After "Gender Transition": Spanish serial killer Joan Vila Dilmé, known as the “Angel of Death,” has been transferred to a women’s prison after identifying as a "woman" under the name “Aida.” Vila, now 60, was sentenced in 2014 to 127 years in prison for the murder of 11 patients at a care home in Olot between 2009 and 2010. The killings involved lethal overdoses of insulin or psychotropic drugs, while some victims were forced to ingest corrosive substances. Most victims were elderly and vulnerable residents under his care. Vila has been serving his sentence at Puig de les Basses prison since 2010.
He needed a one-day sentence before his execution. But oh, heavens, "Pope" Francis says that we all have infinite dignity and executing a monster is so wrong.

This is a very great guest. Please threat. Threaten her. Matthew 7:12 All things therefore whatsoever you will that men do to you, do you also to them. For this is the Law and the Prophets. 1 Corinthians 13:3-10 And if I should distribute all my goods to be meat for the poor, and if I should deliver my body so that I burn, and have not charity, it doth profit me nothing. Charity is patient, is benign: Charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely: is not puffed up, is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh not evil, rejoiceth not upon iniquity, but rejoiceth with the truth: suffereth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, beareth all things. Charity never falleth away: whether prophecies shall be made void, or tongues shall cease, or knowledge shall be destroyed. For in part we know, & in part we prophesy. But when that shall come that is perfect, that shall be made void that is in part.
Several anonymous cardinals and curial officials told the Substack.com account The Pillar on April 17 that they do not expect any resolution to the question of the Mass in the Roman rite in the near future. Some Catholics had hoped the next extraordinary consistory of cardinals on June 26–27 would address the liturgical issue. Instead, Leo XIV chose to focus on Francis' document Evangelii Gaudium. One Vatican official said that Leo XIV was not very familiar with traditional communities or even the traditional liturgy, and that his primary concern was not liturgy but whether members of those communities accept the Second Vatican Council. As early as June 2025, the best friend of Leo XIV, Alejandro Moral, Prior General of the Augustinians, had already ruled out any return of the older form of the Mass under his pontificate. #newsVdgrmnvwkv
Paul VI killed the Old Mass; JP II gave it a tiny life; Benedict opened it up greatly, saying it had never really been officially done away with; Francis tried to kill it; Leo seems happy with Francis's decision. Zigzag, zigzag, what is the layman to think? "Officer, the light was green when I went through it." "Well, it's red now and you are in trouble." Why should the laity respect the governance of the Church?

Cardinal Reinhard Marx of Munich, Germany, has instructed priests and pastoral staff to perform "blessings" for homosexual couples and adulterers. A spokesperson confirmed to Die-Tagespost.de on 21 April that all pastoral practice should adhere to the German bishops' guideline, Segen gibt der Liebe Kraft ('Blessing Gives Love Strength'). This guideline is set to become a fundamental element of pastoral work across the Archdiocese of Munich. Training sessions for pastoral staff on how to conduct these "blessing ceremonies" are scheduled to begin in June. No couple seeking a blessing should be turned away. Priests who reject such "blessings" are expected to refer couples to either their dean or other pastoral workers willing to perform them. Furthermore, Cardinal Marx has urged that the "theological meaning" of the guideline be explained, particularly to those who may "still" struggle with the concept of such "blessings". Blessings for same-sex couples are already common practice in …ተወሳኺ
Is there more freedom of speech in Russia than there is in the US? Rick Sanchez says there is. And he's not the only one to say this. People from other countries have flocked to Russia and now working for various Russian news outlets.
On today's first anniversary of Francis's death, the homosexual activist James Martin SJ shared a memory from 2024. At the time, Francis had made some negative remarks about homosexual priests using the Italian slur "frociaggine" (faggotry) in a meeting with Italian bishops. A few weeks later, Francis received Fr Martin and discussed the expression. Francis said then that he knew "many holy, faithful, celibate gay priests and seminarians". When Fr Martin suggested proclaiming this publicly, Francis replied, "Oh, but I think I have. And in any event, you can say that!" According to Fr Martin, Francis asked back: "So you're saying that I can say you know many holy, faithful, celibate gay priests and seminarians?" Francis shrugged and said, "Of course. Because I do!" [In reality, the Church has suffered from many unholy, unfaithful, sexually active gay priests.] A few days later, during an audience with comedians, Fr Martin greeted Francis again. The Pope said, "Thank you for our meeting …ተወሳኺ
Gay is an adjective that applies to someone tempted to homosexual sin and is proud of the temptation and acting on the temptation. He or she also encourages others to be proud of their temptations and sins. The specific difference is pride. One who is tempted or sins in a homosexual manner and experiences compunction and repugnance is not gay. Given that definition one cannot be a good gay catholic or a good gay priest. Pride is a vice. It changes a tempted person or sinner who should be ashamed into a vicious monster. Bergoglio's and Martin's ambiguity serves as a smoke screen for contradicting divine revelation and traditional moral doctrine.
In June, the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X will announce the names of the future bishops to be consecrated on 1 July in Ecône, Switzerland. Father Kevin M. Cusick published this rumour on the Rorate-Caeli blog, referring to an anonymous 'reliable source' who claimed that both Don Davide Pagliarani, the Fraternity's Superior General, and Father John Fullerton, the Fraternity's Superior for the US, had confirmed the information. The church Saint-Nicaise de Rouen in Rouen, France, will become a brasserie-restaurant with an additional museum space. The site dates back to the 7th century, when a chapel was built for the relics of Saint Nicaise. The current building was reconstructed in reinforced concrete after a fire in 1934 and reopened for worship in 1940. Due to structural deterioration, water infiltration, and lack of maintenance, the church was closed in 2006 and officially deconsecrated in 2017. The new project includes a restaurant, on-site beer production, and preservation of some architectural elements. The church’s large organ, completed in 1957 and one of the most important in Rouen, has been removed and will be relocated to another church in Paris for restoration. Local authorities cited high restoration costs as the main reason for the conversion. #newsRxmfreixrh
Christ Crucified Has Prevailed: In coordination with the Christians of Debel, the Israeli army has replaced the crucifix that had been beheaded in southern Lebanon. This action was (only) taken after images of the incident spread online, sparking widespread outrage.
The Israeli army has stated that it has replaced the crucifix that one of its soldiers defaced in Lebanon. The IDF has expressed deep regret over the incident and is working to ensure that it does not happen again.
The IDF was caught red-handed and so they went into spin control. If a picture hadn't been taken of the incident, they would have simply denied it. Since the picture is real, they say." So sorry, won't happen again". It's all optics to them.
The late great ALAIN DELON’s parents divorced when he was 4yrs old and put him up for adoption - so his answer when asked — “if God exists what would you ask him after your death?” — hits me hard every time.
So sincere and real! It so speaks to our need for and love of our parents, and how as parents we must nurture that love and build on it. It is so sad when even people who have been successfully adopted miss their real parents.
On April 19, the Cathedral of Saint-Jean-l’Évangéliste, Diocese of Saint-Jean-Longueuil, Eastern Canada, hosted the public viewing of an Ice Hockey game (NHL playoff). The watch party included a large-scale projection, lighting effects, food and alcohol. The diocese is currently ruined by Bishop Claude Hamelin.

This apostasy, foretold by Scripture, was also announced by the Virgin at La Salette, who clearly stated that Rome would lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist; that many priests would completely lose the faith and cause the loss of countless souls; and that many churches would be closed and desecrated. Furthermore, she warned that these desecrated churches would be used to worship demons.
Communards? During World War II, Italian partisans (especially those of a communist and socialist orientation) adopted the song "Bella Ciao" as an anthem of resistance to fascism and Nazism. The song became a symbol of the fight for freedom, equality and justice, and the lyrics were adapted to reflect the fight against the fascist regime. After the war, "Bella Ciao" became an international symbol of left-wing, labor and anti-fascist movements. It was sung at protests, union meetings and political events all over the world, from Latin America to Europe. Her message of resistance to injustice and solidarity with the vulnerable makes her a permanent political symbol.

Hegseth scraps mandatory flu shots for troops Washington — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Tuesday that the Department of Defense will no longer mandate U.S. service members to receive the flu shot each year. In a video posted to X, Hegseth said troops will be free to choose whether to get vaccinated against the flu, and the shot will not be required by the Pentagon. "The notion that a flu vaccine must be mandatory for every service member everywhere in every circumstance at all times is just overly broad and not rational," he said. Hegseth said the decision to end the flu-vaccination mandate is part of the Trump administration's effort to "restore freedom and strength to our joint force." "We're seizing this moment to discard any absurd, overreaching mandates that only weaken our war-fighting capabilities. In this case, this includes the universal flu vaccine and the mandate behind it," he said. A memorandum signed by Hegseth on Monday states that "effective immediately, …ተወሳኺ
