"Pawns in the Game" yesterday and today

The book Pawns in the Game written by William Carr was first published in 1954. Seventy-two years later its contents are more important than ever. Carr was a Canadian naval officer. He had a connection to military intelligence agencies. His central point is that International Bankers have been largely responsible for wars and revolutions. Those who hold the levers of big money shape world events such as the Spanish Civil War, the French Revolution and World War I and II. The end result is to establish "an atheistic-totalitarian dictatorship" for the world. One may disagree with Carr's thesis, and he has been given the label of a conspiracy theorist. We believe its too distract from the merit of view. In the last chapter called, "Present Dangers," he talks about Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill. While these men are no longer in the news, the conclusion Carr reaches about the state of the world, and what he thought needed to be done at the time, is just as relevant today. Keep in mind this …
