LDS and Catholic Mobilization Could Crush Idaho’s Abortion Ballot Measure

Two churches in Idaho have the raw power to crush the abortion initiative likely headed for the ballot this November: the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints and the Roman Catholic Church. Yes, Idaho has roughly 560,000 voting‑age Protestants, the largest religious block in the state, but they’re spread across hundreds of denominations.
