WHITE SMOKE 1958 -63- REFLECTION
The most important point to consider regarding the 1958 conclave—a point that no one dares to raise, yet must be raised—is that the white smoke was not a false alarm: a Pope was indeed elected around 5:50 p.m.; in fact, Vatican Radio clearly announced it around 6:00 p.m.; but here’s the thing: the new Pope never appeared! What’s more, the conclave continued in the days that followed.
Did the ceremonial officials make a mistake by putting dry straw in the stove instead of wet straw? Not at all!
Did Vatican Radio make a mistake by announcing Habemus Papam? Not at all!
We must therefore conclude that something serious happened, and that is where imaginations have concocted scenarios that make no sense.
The only valid explanation is that the Pope resigned under duress to make way for an intruder: the Guardian of the Obstacle was defeated in 40 minutes.
If we are not convinced by this undeniable outward sign, the fruits that have come of it must convince us:…More
WHITE SMOKE 1958 -62- SUPPLEMENT
Epilogue:
In this short supplement, I will occasionally share some reflections inspired by the events of October 26, 1958. This will be interspersed, if necessary, with documents such as those posted previously, provided I find them serious enough to be published here, for, as I have already said, the internet is teeming with more or less eccentric publications that have no place here. The most glaring example is the outlandish account by a certain Malachi Martin, whom I mentioned at the beginning of my brief presentation: fumee-blanche-26-10-1958.blogspot.com/2025/12/fum…

WHITE SMOKE 1958 -61- THE TABLET
Here is an account from *The Tablet* dated November 1, 1958 (p. 387) that corroborates what I previously reported from Father Jean-Marie Charles-Roux regarding the variations in the color of the smoke.
“Few people realize how easy it is to pick up Vatican Radio on the medium-wave band (196.2 m) with any standard radio in this country [England]. This was not the case before, but it has been a year since that changed, ever since the late Pope [Pius XII] inaugurated the new powerful transmitters at Santa Maria di Galeria. Last Sunday [October 26, 1958], nothing was easier than sitting in London and listening to the announcer [Father Pellegrino] express his enthusiasm about the color of the smoke. At five o’clock local time (six o’clock in Rome), he suddenly declared [at 6:02 p.m.]: “The smoke is white... there is absolutely no doubt. A Pope has been elected. Habemus Papam.” But then, the smoke seemed to turn black [at 6:05 p.m.], and he said that perhaps we …More
WHITE SMOKE 1958 -60- CHARLES-ROUX
According to Father Jean-Marie Charles-Roux (1914–2014), son of the diplomat François Charles-Roux (French Ambassador to the Holy See from 1932 to 1940), this is what is said to have happened during the 1958 conclave.
During an interview conducted in London in July 1993 by Gary Giuffré, Father Charles-Roux reportedly stated that Cardinal Joseph Siri of Genoa had been elected and had also accepted the papal office, but that he had then been immediately removed, without having actually abdicated [sic! if he had not abdicated, the conclave could not have continued]. According to this priest, ordained in 1954, a very serious threat [in fact, blackmail] was made against Siri and the assembled cardinals, through Cardinal Tisserant, Dean of the Sacred College of Cardinals, shortly after the new Pope had accepted the office. The conclave’s ceremonial officers had already begun burning the ballot papers with dry straw in the stove of the Sistine Chapel, sending …More
WHITE SMOKE 1958 –59– SMOKE
Significant fact:
- during the election of Pius XII, the white smoke lasted two minutes;
- during the election of his successor on 26 October 1958, it lasted more than five minutes.
Note:
It is important to note that, for black or white smoke to be considered valid, it must be continuous: thus, two minutes for Pius XII and more than five minutes for his successor on 26 October 1958. A brief appearance of white smoke before a continuous stream of black smoke means nothing; similarly, a brief appearance of black smoke at the end of a continuous stream of white smoke means nothing either. I repeat: it is the continuity of the smoke’s colour that indicates whether or not a Pope has been elected.
It is worth noting, for the record, that in the year 2025, 26 October falls on the same day (a Sunday) and on the same Feast of Christ the King as 26 October 1958, which was the 33rd celebration of this solemnity since its institution in December 1925.

Up until ten years ago, I had not known this. It is frightening to see how the papal elections were manipulated. I do believe that things would have been much better if Gregory had been crowned pope.
WHITE SMOKE 1958 -58- IRISH INDEPENDENT
In the Irish Independent of 27 October 1958, p. 9, there is an account that corroborates the Associated Press report but in a very different style:
“Millions of people heard the announcement of the election on the radio
...‘The smoke is white,’ announced the Vatican Radio commentator at 6.02 pm. ‘There is absolutely no doubt. A Pope has been elected.’ Shouts of joy erupted among the crowd, and the news was broadcast around the world by radio and telephone. Moments later, Vatican Radio stated: ‘In a few moments, we shall know the name of the new Pope. ” But around 6.05 pm, the first doubts began to arise. The smoke turned black for a moment, then turned white again, and the commentator, informed that those present in the square were beginning to fear that it was truly black, expressed his conviction that it was indeed white. The crowd waited to see if Cardinal Canali, the senior cardinal deacon, would appear on the central balcony of the basilica …More
WHITE SMOKE 1958 -57- ASSOCIATED PRESS
Here is the main document describing the events of 26 October 1958, a document from which all media outlets drew their information, as it was issued by the leading news agency, the Associated Press.
Taken from the Northern Virginia Daily, Monday 27 October 1958, pp. 1 and 2.
‘Cardinals vote four [three] times without electing a Pope
A mix-up in the smoke signals causes confusion
VATICAN CITY (Associated Press) – The cardinals voted four [three] times on Sunday without electing a Pope. Confusion over the smoke signals led people to believe for about half an hour that Pius XII’s successor had been chosen.
For a time, the 200,000 [to 300,000] Romans and tourists gathered in the vast St Peter’s Square were convinced that the Roman Catholic Church had a new Pontiff.
Millions of others listening to the radio throughout Italy and Europe were equally convinced. They heard the Vatican Radio presenter [Father Pellegrino] exclaim jubilantly: ‘A Pope has been …More
WHITE SMOKE 1958 -56- CONCLUSION
The time has therefore come to conclude.
For nearly 70 years now—a figure of profound biblical significance—we have been plunged into the great Apostasy, as evidenced by its poisonous fruits; an Apostasy that will end with the three and a half years of the Antichrist, whom the two Witnesses, Enoch and Elijah, will come to combat, whilst at the same time bringing about the conversion of a great many through their preaching.
We know that the Catholic Church is indestructible and that she will endure until the end of the world with her entire hierarchy, which means that Pius XII will have a new successor—the other having apostatised after two days—and that, by that very fact, the entire ecclesiastical hierarchy will be reconstituted. How will this come about? God alone knows! But we know from the Gospel that Elijah will restore all things.
For the Freemasons, the obstacle is the Catholic Church; the Pope is the guardian of the obstacle; by eliminating the …More
WHITE SMOKE 1958 -55- RESISTANCE DEFEATED
Although the Freemasons, by divine permission, succeeded in their coup in 1958, it was not without resistance! But by October 29, that resistance had been crushed.
Similarly, there was resistance during Vatican II; but by December 7, 1965, that resistance had been crushed.
Finally, during the implementation of this false council, there was also resistance! But since there were no longer any pastors, this resistance fragmented into a multitude of autonomous, more or less traditional factions, and all resistance was overcome there as well.
What remains for us to do? That will be the subject of my conclusion.

WHITE SMOKE 1958 -54- SIGNS
So that we might not be taken by surprise by the mystery of iniquity at work today in an almost open manner, Divine Providence has provided us with signs:
- Thus, the white smoke on October 26, 1958, to warn us of the election of Pius XII’s successor, and by that very fact, the false election of a false shepherd on the 28th;
- Likewise, in the 1960s, the abandonment of ecclesiastical vestments throughout the world for no reason other than to please the world;
- Then, the holding of a false council with all its heresies approved by bishops from around the world;
- And finally, the implementation of Vatican II leading to the de-Christianization of nearly the entire world.
Is it not said that a tree is known by its fruits?

WHITE SMOKE 1958 -53- THE FREEMASONS
As everyone knows, Freemasonry has always had only one goal in mind: to destroy the Church of Jesus Christ, which is only natural since Freemasons are led by Lucifer—and that, incidentally, is their famous secret.
To achieve their goal, they reasoned that they needed to place a usurper on the papal throne who would have the appearance of a true Pope and whom everyone would therefore follow. This is what took place in 1958. They assumed that in this way this false shepherd would cause all the cardinals to apostatize, which indeed happened at the 1958 conclave. It remained for their creation—that is, John XXIII—to lead the bishops into apostasy; for this, a false council was necessary, and he convened Vatican II, after which the bishops, returning to their dioceses, would lead the priests into apostasy, who in turn would lead the faithful away from the true Catholic doctrine.
Alas, this is what happened: it was the great Apostasy foretold by Saint Paul …More
WHITE SMOKE 1958 -52- VOID AND OF NO EFFECT
Since the 1958 conclave² was a false conclave, it necessarily resulted in the election of a false pastor, the primary consequence of which—with all others following from it—was that all decisions made by this usurper were null and void.
Thus, for example, the consistory that took place shortly thereafter to appoint new cardinals was null and void, which, by that very fact, rendered the 1963 conclave null and void, leading to a second impostor, and so on until the present day, when we have reached the seventh false pope.
Likewise, the convocation of Vatican II was null and void, and all the decisions of this false council and their implementation were likewise null and void.
Therefore, since John XXIII, everything has been false, null, and void.

WHITE SMOKE 1958 -51- CONCLAVE 3
After the apostasy of October 28, 1958, what did the usurper do? He could think of nothing better than to hold a conclave,3 that is, he kept all the cardinals for one more day—October 29—not to hold a third election, but to finalize the second one by imposing complete silence on them regarding everything that had happened over the previous three days: this is the famous “horrible secret” mentioned by one of them in 1985! John XXIII must have had a hard time imposing it, since it took a whole day to get everyone to agree to it, and this Masonic secret—for that is what it must be called—was well kept, since no one broke it, even though it was of no value whatsoever! But there you have it: with the apostasy now complete, not a single one of them converted.
As for Pius XII’s successor, he reigned for a total of just 48 hours!!!

WHITE SMOKE 1958 -50- DECAPITATION
The 1958 conclave2 thus resulted in a farce of an election, and it could not have been otherwise, since this false conclave should never have taken place given the valid election of Pius XII’s successor.
One point is worth noting: as soon as the true conclave ended, on 26 October, all suspended censures were reinstated; that is to say, at the second conclave, the cardinals who had incurred any censure were once again subject to it.
Furthermore, once the farce of an election had ended, on 28 October, the entire conclave committed apostasy by pledging allegiance to the usurper newly elected by them, as a result of which all the cardinals and the successor to Pius XII lost their office by that very act, since they placed themselves outside the Church by promising obedience to someone who was not Pope, even though he appeared to be one! The Catholic Church was thus decapitated in all its governing bodies.

WHITE SMOKE 1958 -49- 28 OCTOBER 1958
Third fall:
On 28 October 1958, the conclave2 came to an end – a false conclave, let us repeat, since within it there was already a Pope who had joined the ranks of the cardinals to elect another pope! Obviously, this second pontiff can only be false, since the Holy Spirit had withdrawn from the conclave two days earlier during the forced and invalid abdication of the true Pontiff.
We have now reached the final fall, which took place between 5.22 pm and 6.20 pm on Tuesday 28th, when the cardinals, together with the true Pontiff, pledged allegiance to the usurper: this is an act of apostasy, the consequence of which is that the true Pontiff ipso facto loses his office.
The result is that on 28 October 1958 at 6.20 pm, the Catholic Church no longer had a Pope: the realisation is terrible and the consequences manifold.

WHITE SMOKE 1958 -48- PRINTS
Before we come to the third fall—which is the most terrible, as it determines everything that follows—let us summarise what has just been said, backed up by evidence that cannot be disputed:
1- Pius XII had a successor on 26 October 1958 at around 5.50 pm: the white smoke from 5.53 pm until 6.05 pm is there to attest to this.
2- The new Pontiff renounced his office under duress and therefore invalidly between 6.00 pm and 6.30 pm on that same 26 October: the absence of ‘Habemus Papam’ is there to attest to this.
3- The entire conclave followed the Pope in his fall, and therefore all the cardinals have fallen: the conclave2 is there to attest to this.
(Source: first comment)
WHITE SMOKE 1958 -47- DEFECTION OF THE CARDINALS
Second fall:
Having succumbed to the subtle trap set by the Freemasons within the conclave, Pius XII’s successor set about subverting the entire conclave, an operation which succeeded, since the conclave in question continued against all expectations.
Let us not forget, indeed, that the enemies of the Church have long dreamed of substituting a false pope for the true one, and thereby, without anyone noticing, causing the whole Church to fall into Apostasy. Their manoeuvre succeeded on 26 October 1958, and not only did the successor to Pius XII fall, but all the cardinals of the conclave fell in turn.
Indeed, to have a false pope, it was necessary to turn a true conclave into a false one, and that was the conclave2.

WHITE SMOKE 1958 -46- DEFECTION OF THE ELECTED REPRESENTATIVE
First point:
No one can be unaware that Pius XII had a successor: the white smoke that rose at 5.53 pm on 26 October 1958 is proof of this! It is an undeniable fact that the enemies of the Church have tried either to conceal this or to obscure it so that no one would take any notice of it. But Providence wished to give us this indisputable sign so that we might not fall prey to the heresies that have been overwhelming us for nearly 70 years.
Yet what the enemies of the Church had previously failed to achieve, God allowed their coup to succeed on that very 26 October: in less than 40 minutes, their plan was in the bag.
Indeed, the new Pontiff allowed himself to be outmanoeuvred and fell miserably, abdicating under duress half an hour after accepting: the absence of ‘Habemus Papam’ is there to prove it to us.

WHITE SMOKE 1958 -45- ALLEGIANCE
We must now move toward the conclusion of this drama from October 1958, but first, one last thing remains to be noted.
When a Pope is elected—once he has been chosen, has accepted, and has taken a name—while white smoke rises from the Sistine Chapel to signal his election to all, before the announcement of “Habemus Papam,” the cardinals of the conclave come to pledge allegiance to the new Pontiff; this lasts about twenty minutes.
On October 26, this ceremony did not take place since there was no “Habemus Papam.” Instead, as I have explained at length, the conspiracy talks aimed at bringing down the elected candidate were taking place—which, alas, succeeded.
However, on October 28, something curious occurred: it took an hour instead of 20 minutes to complete this tribute, a sign that it did not go smoothly and that there was certainly resistance, which explains why the usurper decided—an unprecedented move—to extend the conclave2 by one day, even though …More
WHITE SMOKE 1958 -44- THE TWO OPPOSITES
The third difference between the two outcomes of the two conclaves of 1958:
When a pope is elected, the new pontiff normally appears before the crowd about twenty minutes after white smoke begins to rise; this is what Vatican Radio announced on October 26 at 6:02 p.m., nine minutes after the white smoke appeared; the newly elected Pope was therefore expected to appear around 6:13 p.m.: yet no one came! And the conclave continued, becoming an invalid Conclave 2 due to the null and void abdication, since it was made under duress by the successor of Pius XII.
On October 28, the usurper appeared at 6:20 p.m., one hour after the gray smoke began! And how did he appear? Flanked by Cardinal Tisserant, which suggests that the latter was the mastermind behind the plot.
