Mary, Ever Virgin, Immaculate Conception, the Mother of God, gave us Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, the Redeemer by willingly providing the pure seed bed of the Divine Incarnation, and through her miraculous Virgin birth (“like a ray of light thru a pane of glass”; before-during-after the birth of Christ). Thru Mary we have Jesus. Mediatrix of All Graces. Thru Mary Jesus comes to us and thru Mary we go to Him. Stabat Mater…At Christ’s birth, and at the foot of the Cross, She is both Mother of God and Co-Redemptorix as she participates in this way, indirectly, in the Redemption Itself. Mary knew that Our Lord Jesus Christ would die on the Cross thru St. Gabriel at the Annunciation. No Mary. No Redeemer. No Redemption. Why? Deus vult…Assumpta est Maria in Caelo.
