Report: Williamson Confirmed Viganò's Conditional Episcopal Consecration in Writing

Bishop Richard Williamson (+ January 2025) allegedly confirmed to Sean Johnson that he had conditionally consecrated a Archbishop Carlo Viganò, 85, a bishop in 2023. Johnson published a 2023 email from Williamson on Seraphim54.substack.com on June 19.
Johnson is a former seminarian of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) and father of nine children who now attends Mass at the US-based Congregation of Saint Pius V (CSPV), a splinter group from the FSSPX.
Johnson's publication is consistent with information previously received by Gloria.tv from independent ecclesiastical sources.
Viganò was consecrated a bishop by Pope John Paul II in 1992.
Since 2023, a persistent rumour about the conditional [second] consecration of Viganò has circulated.
Johnson’s article claims that he emailed Viganò twice in November and December 2023 asking about those rumours but didn’t receive a reply.
Then, Johnson contacted Williamson.
The central statement attributed to Bishop Williamson regarding …আরও

Pope Leo's popularity with Republican Catholics plummets after his bitter feuds with Trump
The shepherd is gathering his flock around him-- not.
Prevost is showing more and more his inability to understand the 4 Gospels. Pretty soon no one will pay him any attention except the Vatican debt collectors. It is embarrassing to have anything to do with this synosalist. What do our Jewish brethren think of all this? What is the meaning of this phrase--"Women of Jerusalem, weep not for Me but for yourselves and your children." (Luke 23:28) Has Prevost set forth exact;y to whom our Savior is referring? And how long must the weeling go on?

Cardinal Ruini’s testament reveals ‘unease’ over the Francis pontificate

Full testament of Cardinal Ruini: A key aide to Pope John Paul II

VATICAN CITY (PerMariam) — The full testament of Cardinal Camillo Ruini – a key aide of Pope John Paul II – has been published, containing reflections on his long career and the three popes he served under as a prelate.
On June 16, Cdl. Ruini died in Rome at the age of 95.
Ordained in 1954, he was consecrated bishop in 1983 and made cardinal by John Paul II in 1991. He swiftly became an influential figure for the Polish Pope, serving as secretary general of the Italian Bishops Conference from 1986 - 1991, and then president of that body from 1991 until 2007. He was also vicar general of the Diocese of Rome from 1991 until 2008.

Ruini’s response to many social moral crises was much in line with John Paul II and Benedict XVI, and his firm opposition to LGBT ideology made him an unpopular figure in the increasingly anti-family forces gaining ground in Italian society. {For a detailed obituary see Vaticanist Edward Pentin’s write-up} Though perhaps less …

Love is not loved in the world. It comes from near and far. Knocking softly, it searches for a person. Victory love is crucified. It looks into our eyes and cries when betrayed. It holds its heart in its hand. You keep running away and screaming. I don't want them. I give you pure water, the Springs. I love you very much, my little lights. I give you pure water, the Springs. New FSSP Apostolate in Arlington

The Diocese of Arlington, in Northern Virginia, has announced the creation of a new apostolate entrusted to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP), Bishop Michael Burbidge announced on June 19.
Father Jonathan Romanoski FSSP and Father John Audino FSSP have been appointed to the Chaplaincy.
Following the motu proprio Traditionis Custodes in 2021, the Diocese of Arlington experienced a unprecedented eradication of Masses in the Roman rite.
With 21 locations, Arlington Diocese was one of the strongest for the Roman Rite in the United States.
In 2022, the Diocese of Arlington reduced the number of "permitted" Mass locations from 21 to 8.
Of those eight locations, only three - Saint Rita in Alexandria, Saint John the Beloved in McLean, and Saint Anthony of Padua Mission in Falls Church - received Vatican permission to continue Masses in parish churches. The remaining five communities were relocated to non-parish churches.

Since you probably lack time and enthusiasm needed to peruse all 1600+ pages of documents, however fascinating and revealing they are both individually and in the aggregate, here are the broad takeaways of what they prove:
The good news was that it showed the intelligence community (IC) is not, after all, composed of all witless morons. Many immediately recognized that the Wuhan lab was the most obvious source of covid’s chocolately badness.
Somehow, Dr. Fauci wielded insane levels of influence inside the IC. “The intelligence community almost always incorporated Fauci’s recommendations,” Tulsi said. He used that outsized influence to conceal at least two big things.
First, Fauci didn’t want anybody connecting dots between the pandemic and certain NIH grants he personally approved for coronavirus research at the Wuhan lab.
Second, he especially didn’t want people talking about those grants because they were for research that, if one were feeling uncharitable, could easily be described …আরও

WASHINGTON (TNND) — On her last day in the Trump administration, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released files that she said were "exposing" Dr. Anthony Fauci for allegedly using intelligence agencies to cover up the COVID-19 lab-leak origin.
Gabbard said in a video posted on X on Thursday that as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Fauci "provided millions in U.S. taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology—work which is now widely viewed as the source of the unintentional lab leak that sparked the pandemic."

Argentine Bishops Thank God for the 'Courage' of an Abortion Activist

The Argentine Bishops' Conference issued a tribute to the abortion activist Taty Almeida, 95, following her death on June 14.
In a June 15 statement signed by Archbishop Marcelo Colombo, president of the conference, and Bishop Raúl Pizarro, secretary general, the bishops sarcastically praised Almeida's "historic commitment to human rights". They even “thanked God for sustaining her courage”.
Almeida was one of Argentina's best-known “human-rights” activists. She was a longtime member of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo movement about people who disappeared during Argentina's military dictatorship.
The bishops' statement ignored her support for abortion.
Almeida publicly supported Argentina's abortion movement. She frequently appeared wearing the green scarf that became the symbol of the campaign for legal abortion and backed the effort that led to abortion legalization in 2020.
Almeida was closely associated with sectors of the Argentine caviar left and often appeared alongside progressive …আরও

Cardinal Ruini's Testament: "Francis Reopened Wounds"

MessaInLatino.it published today the spiritual testament of Cardinal Camillo Ruini, signed on June 3, 2016. He died on June 16, 2026 at the age of 95.
Cardinal Ruini's testament is a personal reflection on his life, giving thanks to God for his family, vocation, and ministry in the Church.
More than 90% of the sentences are written in the first person singular, with verbs such as ringrazio ('I thank'), confesso ('I confess'), ho cercato ('I have tried'), and sono stato ('I have been') making Ruini the grammatical subject in nearly every sentence. The testament provides a detailed account of his family life, his work as a priest and bishop, his collaborations, and his public importance. A sympathetic reading of his frequent use of first-person pronouns (I, me, my, mine) might suggest that spiritual testaments traditionally belong to an autobiographical and introspective literary genre.
The paragraph that focuses least on himself is the best one, dealing with Pope Francis's pontificate: …আরও

FERNANDEZ PREPARES THE SSPX FOR A SECOND EXCOMMUNICATION WITH LG 16 ‘VISIBLE’ : POPE LEO KEEPS IT A SECRET : TRADS UNITED WITH LG 16-HONEST
Pope John Paul II and Cardinal Ratzinger excommunicated bishops Fellay and Galaratta, using the LG 16 visible premise. With the LG 16 invisible premise, in the interpretation of Vatican Council II, it is the pope and cardinals who are in schism.
The rational interpretation of LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc, supports Tradition.
Like Lefebvre, Fellay and Galaratta did not seem to know about the false premise. This is indicated by their silence as a second excommunication is prepared.
Archbishop Lefebvre did not know about the LG 16 visible mistake. Now after some 60 - plus years, it is the same with Fr. Dacide Pagliarani and the two living SSPX bishops.
Pope Benedict kept all this a secret, even until his death. Neither is Pope Leo telling the SSPX about it. The religious formation of Fr. Robert Provost, was with this common …আরও

SAINT ROMUALD Abbot - June 19
(c. 952-1027)
In the midst of a wasted youth, Romuald watched his father kill a relative in a duel over property. In horror he fled to a monastery near Ravenna. After three years, some of the monks found him to be uncomfortably holy and eased him out.
Romuald spent the next 30 years going about Italy, founding monasteries and hermitages. He longed to give his life to Christ in martyrdom, and got the pope’s permission to preach the gospel in Hungary. But he was struck with illness as soon as he arrived, and the illness recurred as often as he tried to proceed.
During another period of his life, Romuald suffered great spiritual dryness. One day as he was praying Psalm 31 (“I will give you understanding and I will instruct you”), he was given an extraordinary light and spirit which never left him.
At the next monastery where he stayed, Romuald was accused of a scandalous crime by a young nobleman he had rebuked for a dissolute life. Amazingly, his fellow …আরও

Pope Leo XIV advances sainthood cause of Mother Mary Teresa Tallon

Mother Mary Teresa Tallon is pictured in this undated colorized photo taken around 1920, when she founded the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate. (OSV News photo/ courtesy Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate)
VATICAN CITY (OSV News) — Pope Leo XIV has recognized the heroic virtues of Mother Mary Teresa Tallon, the founder of a U.S. religious order devoted to person-to-person ministry, and declared her venerable, advancing her cause for canonization.
During a June 18 meeting with Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, prefect of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, the pope also advanced the sainthood causes of several men and women, including 20 Spanish martyrs who died during the Spanish Civil War.
Mary Teresa Tallon was born May 6, 1867, in Hanover, New York, to Irish immigrants. At age 19, she joined the Holy Cross Sisters in South Bend, Indiana, serving for 33 years in the religious community as a teacher in Catholic schools with poor and neglected children.
Founded a new congregation in 1920 …
