Archbishop Aldo Cavalli, 79, a former Apostolic Nuncio and the Apostolic Visitor for the parish of Medjugorje, administered Confirmation to two young Irish Travellers in the Adoration Chapel in Medjugorje, reports David Murgia on IlSegnoDiGiona. According to pictures, the women wore inappropriate short white pyjamas. Murgia says the outfits reflect festive dress customary in the Irish Traveller community. He claims to have verified the circumstances through multiple sources and that the photographs are authentic.

Anthony Abbate: Chairman of the Fence
A tuxedo, a microphone, a theological crisis, and one very comfortable fence. New Catholic satire song is now live on YouTube.
There are men who take a position.
There are men who change positions.
And then there are men who build a very nice house directly on the fence, install a microphone, order a cocktail, and begin explaining why everybody on either side has gone too far.
That brings us to “Chairman of the Fence.”

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.
I’m Anthony Abbate.
I host a show called Avoiding Babylon.
Every week I tell you the men running Rome hate Tradition.
Then I call you crazy for questioning whether they’re Catholic.
Now, let’s all remain calm.
[Verse 1]
I say Rome persecutes the ancient Mass;
The SSPX defends what Rome attacks.
I toast Marcel Lefebvre for saying no,
And hail the SSPX for doing so.
But ask if Rome’s hierarchy has the right to rule,
I call you a “sede moron” and a fool.
I lay out all the …More

I just went out of arguments in a dispute with a good friend about the actual situation of Saint Peter's Holy See. This singed satire came just in time like a charm!

Today, Leo XIV joked with children at the Vatican’s annual Family Day for employees and their families. “How much is six-seven?” he asked, while making the hand gesture from the viral “6-7” meme. He then answered 13 - turning the deliberately meaningless meme into 6+7. Teenagers followed with another slang: “Papa, can you say ‘aura’?” Leo looked puzzled and repeated: “Aura?” - prompting more laughter. Online, “aura” refers to someone’s coolness, charisma or presence. Young people jokingly give or take away “aura points” depending on what someone does.

Pope Leo XIV makes a dad joke to kids about 6-7, saying “how much is 6 + 7? It’s 13.”

Around 100 motorcyclists gathered with their bikes for a an Open Air Eucharist at the Madonna del Lago church in Castel Gandolfo last Sunday. The annual gathering is led by parish priest and motorcyclist Rev. Tadeusz Rozmus, known as “Don Biker.” During the Novus Ordo, prayers were offered for riders, their families and those killed in road accidents. The bikers then rode in procession through Castel Gandolfo to join Leo XIV for the Angelus. The Pope gave them a special greeting, welcoming the motorcyclists attending their “traditional annual gathering.”

Will Monsignor Gänswein be the new apostolic nuncio in France?

Leo XIV Receives Gänswein Amid Speculation Over Paris Nunciature

Today, Pope Leo XIV received Archbishop Georg Gänswein, 70, in an audience, amid renewed speculation that Benedict XVI’s longtime secretary could soon be appointed Apostolic Nuncio to France.
It was Gänswein’s third meeting with Leo XIV: the first came during the Pope’s gathering with apostolic nuncios in June 2025, followed by a private audience on December 12, 2025.
Monsignor Gänswein serves as Apostolic Nuncio to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Pope Francis appointed him to the diplomatic post in June 2024, ending roughly a year in Freiburg without an official assignment following the death of Benedict XVI.
In recent months, Vatican observers have speculated that Gänswein could be transferred to the Apostolic Nunciature in Paris. Asked about the possibility at a public appearance in Ravensburg in July, Gänswein declined to confirm the speculation.

The Anglican St. Paul’s Cathedral in London has entered a four-year partnership with Fabric, one of the city’s best-known nightclubs. Fabric will stage contemporary music events inside the cathedral through 2030. The first concert is scheduled for October 29. The artist has not yet been announced. St. Paul’s says the program aims to attract new visitors and introduce them to the cathedral through music and culture. The partnership follows earlier performances by RY X and Patti Smith.

Hendrik the adulterer's legacy.

Natural wealth is always pursued for the sake of something else (e.g., health, comfort, survival).
It is a means to fulfill human nature, not the end of human life.

St. Thomas Aquinas asks whether human happiness can consist in wealth. In everyday terms, he is examining whether having money and possessions can be what truly fulfills us and makes us happy, or whether happiness must be found in something deeper and more lasting than material goods.

Whether Man's Happiness Consists in Wealth?

The Question: St. Thomas Aquinas asks whether human happiness can consist in wealth. In everyday terms, he is examining whether having money and possessions can be what truly fulfills us and makes us happy, or whether happiness must be found in something deeper and more lasting than material goods. Aquinas’ Main Answer: No, human happiness cannot consist in wealth. While money and possessions can help us survive and enjoy life, they are not our true goal or deepest fulfillment. Happiness is about achieving our ultimate purpose as human beings, and that purpose lies in something far greater than material goods. Wealth is only a tool to serve real human needs, not the destination itself. Here is how St. Thomas Aquinas himself explains it: “It is impossible for man’s happiness to consist in wealth. For wealth is twofold, as the Philosopher says (Polit. i, 3), viz. natural and artificial. Natural wealth is that which serves man as a remedy for his natural wants: such as food, drink, clothing …

Canada is defending its policy allowing transvestites to be housed in women’s prisons. A lawsuit cites 10 alleged sexual assaults and says female inmates’ rights were violated. Ottawa acknowledges the assaults but “wholly denies” the policy caused the harm. It says case-by-case risk assessments are sufficient and calls the policy an “ameliorative” measure for a disadvantaged group.

Canada’s gov’t defends housing ‘transgender’ men in women’s prisons - LifeSite

Thu Sep 3, 2026 - 5:52 pm EDT OTTAWA, Ontario (LifeSiteNews) — The Canadian government has filed its response to a legal challenge of its policy of housing men in female prisons, acknowledging several instances of sexual abuse but denying the policy is at fault. Last year, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) filed a motion on behalf of Canadian Women’s Sex-Based Rights (CAWSBAR), challenging the Correctional Service Canada’s “Directive 100: Gender Diverse Offenders,” which permits males who “identify” as women to be incarcerated in women’s prisons. CAWSBAR says that this violates the Charter Rights of female inmates, including “their section 7 right to life, liberty and security of the person, their section 12 right not to be subjected to cruel and unusual treatment, and their section 15 right to equality as female persons.” The challenge cited 10 instances of “trans-identifying males” sexually assaulting female inmates. On August 31, the government filed its Statement …

Friday, 5th September 1913 Grand Jury May Act On Jim Conley Today, The Atlanta Constitution
PAGE 7, COLUMN 5
The new grand jury will meet today, and there is much speculation rife as to whether or not this grand jury will take up the charge against Jim Conley, negro sweeper at the National Pencil company's factory, of accessory after the fact of Mary Phagan's murder.
Solicitor Dorsey has declined consistently to commit himself on the subject. It is definitely known that on Thursday no bill against Conley had been drawn.
There are those wise ones who say, however, that the case of Conley will be among the first to be considered by the grand jury, and there are others who declared that the jury will not consider the case at all.
The upshot of the situation is that no one, not strictly on the inside, knows just what the grand jury is going to do.
