65% of Cardinals Know No Latin – Lack Any Real Qualifications

Over 65% of the current College of Cardinals does not know any Latin, writes Francesco Capozza, Vatican journalist for IlTempo.it, on Facebook (August 4): “This is the extremely serious legacy of Bergoglio (Pope Francis), who has given the Church cardinals who are ignorant, lacking any real qualifications or merit, and unaware that Latin is the official language of the Church.”
The figure sounds plausible, but Capozza does not publish any documentation to support it. He says he conducted research over several months and consulted seminaries, universities, religious congregations, and others.
Capozza adds that most of these cardinals do not even speak English, but only their native language.
He concludes: “This is the Church of today, and if Leo XIV does not clean house, the outcome will be an even greater disaster than the previous twelve years.”

Oh, but but,... all the novus ordo clergy don't need Latin at all.
What do they need Latin for?
Plus, even the demons hate the sacred Latin of the Church—especially its prayers, Gregorian chant, and above all the solemn rite of exorcism.

Patriarch Kirill Scraps Hilarion's Brazil Posting, Reassigns Him to Monastery

The Russian Orthodox Church has revoked its June decision assigning its former foreign affairs chief to two Russian Orthodox parishes in southern Brazil.
Instead, Patriarch Kirill has assigned Hilarion, 60, to the Exaltation of the Cross Monastery near Moscow.
The latest reassignment comes after a series of controversies involving the once-powerful church diplomat.
In May, Czech police detained Hilarion in Karlovy Vary after searching his car and finding four containers containing a white powder. Czech authorities later identified the substance as cocaine. Hilarion was released without charges after two days, while the investigation remains ongoing. He denies any involvement and says he was the victim of a provocation.
Hilarion had already been removed as Metropolitan of Budapest and Hungary in 2024 after a former male assistant accused him of homosexual misconduct and financial impropriety. The allegations were accompanied by claims that Hilarion lived a lavish lifestyle and accumulated …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು

About a year ago, Jay Smith and Hatun Tash got up on their ladders at Speakers' Corner to show 26 different Arabic Qur'ans to the world. They didn't have the time then to go through the 26 Qur'ans, and so they decided to bring the Qurans back to Speakers' Corner for a similar talk, but this time to go through and show some of the differences. To date, Arabic scholars who are doing the research (not Jay nor Hatun, who are clear that they are not Arabic scholars) have found 45,377 differences within the 26 Qur'ans they are looking at. That number will continue to rise as they find hundreds, and perhaps thousands more. Jay and Hatun couldn't go through all the 45,377 differences they were aware of, so they only brought down about 70 examples, taken from an assortment of the …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು

Outstanding Catholic Bishop Did Not Even Receive a Proper Grave

Seven years after his death, the Capuchin bishop Juan Rodolfo Laise still lacks a proper grave inscription in the Capuchin cemetery of San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy.
Bishop Laise became internationally known for defending the practice of receiving Holy Communion on the tongue. During debates within the Argentine Episcopal Conference in 1996 over the introduction of Communion in the hand, he chose not to implement the indult in his diocese, maintaining that receiving Communion on the tongue remained the universal norm of the Church.
After retiring, he settled in San Giovanni Rotondo, where he spent his final years serving as a confessor.
Although a marble slab was placed over his grave at the time of his burial in 2019, it still bears only the temporary paper funeral notice affixed on the day of his funeral. No permanent inscription has ever been added.
The case has attracted renewed attention following an investigation by Italian journalist Simone Ortolani, as reported by Messa in Latino. …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು

Ceuta Immigrants Are "Saints": Spanish priest Fr Ángel García, founder of the charity Mensajeros de la Paz, described invaders in Ceuta as "saints" because they had remained calm in difficult circumstances. Speaking to laSexta television in Ceuta on August 3, the priest said that many people would have reacted violently in the same circumstances, but the invaders were peacefully waiting for an opportunity to enter the reception centre. His remarks contrast with reports of unrest, including incidents of looting, violence and the carrying of machetes.

In the Moroccan invasion of Ceuta, people with katanas, jihadists, and all kinds of criminals have entered, but for "Father Ángel," they are true "saints."

Question:
Based on all going issues since Benedict XVI resigned from ministerium and not from munus, how one can consider Bergoglio and Prevost were/are true popes?
Canon 332 §2 of the 1983 Code states plainly:
Si contingat ut Romanus Pontifex muneri suo renuntiet, ad validitatem requiritur ut renuntiatio libere fiat et rite manifestetur, non vero ut a quopiam acceptetur.
"If it happens that the Roman Pontiff resigns his munus, it is required for validity that the resignation be freely made and properly manifested, but it is not necessary that it be accepted by anyone."
The canon uses munus — not ministerium, not officium, not any other term. Munus in the canonical tradition carries the weight of the office itself: the ontological reality, the gift-and-burden of the Petrine charge, not merely its active exercise.
On February 11, 2013, Benedict XVI declared in Latin:
...declaro me ministerio Episcopi Romae, Successoris Sancti Petri, mihi per manus Cardinalium die 19 aprilis MMV …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು

"Marriage Is Not an Ideal for Only a Few": Burke Challenges Amoris Laetitia

Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke has called on Catholics to defend the sacrament of marriage and the Christian family even at the cost of suffering. Preaching on July 25 at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Wisconsin, the cardinal encouraged married couples to embrace their vocation as a path to holiness.
"The grace of Holy Matrimony is not an ideal to which only a few can aspire," he said, "but an objective reality, a supernatural gift, which leads husband and wife to seek each other's eternal salvation along the path of divine love."
The cardinal concluded: "Let us be ready for martyrdom, if not the red martyrdom of blood, certainly the white martyrdom of faithful witness to Our Lord in the face of indifference, ridicule, and persecution."
Cardinal Burke's appeal comes just two months before the Vatican's October meeting convened by Pope Leo XIV to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Amoris laetitia. In this exhortation, Pope Francis repeatedly uses the language of the "ideal" of marriage …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು

There was no treatment whatsoever beyond my resolve not to pass it on to others. My friend Pornchai Moontri was here with me then and he had Covid as well. So did most of the prisoners who shared the space in which we lived. I was in my later 60s then, and at one point I thought I may not survive it, but obviously I did. …

Six Jewish extremists were arrested after spitting at the Armenian Orthodox St. James Monastery in Jerusalem, verbally abusing a woman who filmed them, and throwing rocks. Their punishment? A 15-day ban from Jerusalem's Old City. The Armenian Patriarchate says these attacks are part of a growing pattern of anti-Christian violence and is urging the Israeli government to treat them as hate crimes. The Religious Freedom Data Center (RFDC) documented 83 attacks against Christians between April and June 2026, almost twice as many as the previous quarter.

Spittle and stones against an Armenian church in Jerusalem

The Armenian church in the Old City of Jerusalem was the target of an attack on Saturday night, when several people spat at the temple and threw stones at the building. Israeli Police detained six suspects, five of them minors, in a new episode of harassment against the Christian presence in the holy city. According to the KNA agency, the arrests took place after several citizens reported the incident. The Police requested pretrial detention for three of the suspects, while the other three were released under certain conditions. A pattern of aggression against Christians The attack is not an isolated incident. In recent weeks, various organizations and international media have warned of the increase in attacks against churches, monasteries, clergy, and Christian faithful, especially in the Old City of Jerusalem. The Religious Freedom Data Center (RFDC) documented 83 attacks against Christians between April and June 2026, almost double the number recorded in the previous quarter. Most …

Editor, Il Messaggero, Rome.
Dear Mr.Napoletano,

There is an error in Il Messaggero’s interpretation of Vatican Council II affecting Catholics at large and especially the SSPX.
NOTE:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior and Quirinale and the rest of the Italian Government interprets Vatican Council II irrationally and unethically too.
Dear Roberto Napoletano,
I want to bring your attention to a general mistake in the reporting on Vatican Council II in your newspaper. The same mistake was made by Gianfranca Soldati, Vaticanista, and a representative of the Vatican, at a conference on Vatican Council II held by this newspaper.

Sydney Archbishop: Homosexuals Mocked Catholic Faith

Sydney Archbishop Anthony Fisher noted the producers of a homosexual performance staged inside a former Catholic church on Kent Street deliberately mocked the Catholic faith.
Writing in CatholicWeekly.com.au on July 28, a week after hundreds of Catholics gathered outside the venue to pray the Rosary, Archbishop Fisher rejected claims that the show was simply artistic expression.
The performances were "not neutral expressions of art" but "a deliberate appropriation, sexualisation, and denigration of symbols and rituals specific and sacred to the Catholic faith."
The archbishop cited promotional images showing a pig offering McDonald's fries as the "Body of Christ," male performers dressed as nuns, and events titled "Sunday Mess" and "Unholy Confessions." He considered claims - that the production was not intended to mock Catholics - were "unpersuasive."
"For Catholics, the Eucharist is not a cultural motif available for parody," Fisher wrote. "It is the sacrament at the heart of our …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು
