Rev. Michael Pfleger, 77, was reinstated effective August 24 after the Archdiocese of Chicago's Independent Review Board completed its investigation. He is known nationally for his progressive activism. Cardinal Blase Cupich, 77, said the board, assisted by the Office of Child Protection and outside investigators, concluded there was “no reason to believe” Pfleger was guilty of the allegation. Cupich accepted the recommendation and returned him to ministry at St. Sabina. According to the Chicago Sun-Times reporting, a woman alleged that Pfleger sexually abused her when she was a girl attending St. Sabina's school sometime between 1993 and 1995. The allegation surfaced this July, and Pfleger was removed from ministry on July 11 while it was investigated. Rev. Pfleger denied it emphatically from the outset, calling it an “absolute lie.” Under archdiocesan policy, the allegation was reported to police, and the accuser was offered assistance through the church's Victim Assistance Ministry. …Mai
@brhenry The Divine Liturgy is not the question of discipline but lex orandi strictly related to lex credendi. The Council of Trent confirmed the above proclaiming anathemas against sacramental revolutionaries (Canon XIII about the Sacraments in general).
"So, then, if anyone says that the Roman Pontiff has only an office of supervision or guidance, and not the full and supreme power of jurisdiction over the whole Church, and this not only in matters of faith and morals, but also in those which concern the discipline and government of the Church dispersed throughout the whole world; or that he has only the principal part, but not the absolute fullness of this supreme power; or that this power of his is not ordinary and immediate both over all and each of the Churches and over all and each of the pastors and faithful: let him be anathema." Vatican's foreign minister to Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov today –– “Let us be clear: this war must end”. And: “The conflict cannot be resolved by military means”
It's the only way now. They tore up the peace treaty Russia and Ukraine signed. They said, there will be no peace treaty. Now there is Trump who finally revealed he has been on the side of Ukraine the whole time. Which was very, very obvious from his first term. Russia has reached out and asked for intervention and dialogue for too long. Now Russia is almost finished with the mess of this proxy war the US and NATO and Europe has made. Besides we know these things must happen with WW 3. It's all been told and warned about. There will be no peace until Russia is Consecrated to The Immaculate Heart of Mary as Both Christ and The Blessed Mother said.
Father Michael Pfleger has returned to ministry at Chicago’s St Sabina Parish after the Independent Review Board concluded there was no reason to believe he was guilty of the latest allegation against him
We have a duty to seek the truth, and to reject evil. Sadly, the sources we've been told we can trust are politically compromised and have become one big stealth campaign for evil. How we choose to respond make a big difference. Is there any point trying to use Wikipedia for biblical research? I was doing research on Daniel 7 and 8 and predictably Wikipedia only gave the skeptic side of things. Even my 1984 encyclopaedia says "some say it was written in 165 BC, others say it was written earlier". But Wikipedia unequivocally declares the former. I say predictably because it's known to be edited by atheist Reddit types. What websites do you use for biblical research. "How spiritually blind are those persons who, having no thought about the things of God, fix their end in earthly objects! Wretched men! by far worse than the very beasts which are guided by their senses, because they cannot have reason; but when men abandon the use of their reason, they become brutalized. Hence they shall ever be in confusion."
Fifth Letter . [The original of the following letter is allegedly preserved in the city of Montalto in Calabria, Kingdom of Naples, and has been copied by John Baptist Francesco, a public notary:] My Lord and Brother in Jesus Christ our Lord, — May his Divine Majesty reign in every place, namely, in heaven, upon earth, and even in hell. How spiritually blind are those persons who, having no thought about the things of God, fix their end in earthly objects! Wretched men! by far worse than the very beasts which are guided by their senses, because they cannot have reason; but when men abandon the use of their reason, they become brutalized. Hence they shall ever be in confusion. Let, therefore, the princes of this world be prepared for the greatest scourges to fall upon them. But from whom? First from heretics and infidels, then from the holy and most faithful Cruciferi elected by the Most High, who, not succeeding in converting heretics with science, shall have to make a vigorous use of …Mai

Eric Daugherty @EricLDaugh NOW: House Republicans are pushing to pass massive new legislation that BANS ANY future president from opening our borders to invasion of illegal aliens NO-BRAINER and NO EXCUSES! "It codifies what the president's doing and says you CAN'T release people into the US, abuse asylum and parole, catch-and-release, unaccompanied children abused. We SOLVE all this in this bill."
The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (SSPX) has announced that it will continue its annual pilgrimage to Lourdes. Following the episcopal consecrations on July 1 in Ecône, Bishop Jean-Marc Micas of Tarbes and Lourdes withdrew permission for the SSPX to celebrate public Masses, administer sacraments, or organize public prayers at Lourdes. In an August 22 statement, Fr. Gonzague Peignot, superior of the FSSPX in France, announced that the Fraternity intends to continue coming to Lourdes every year, “Our Lady does not deserve to be abandoned despite the obstacles,” he said. The FSSPX expressed 'sorrow and incomprehension', questioning the bishop's decision and pointing to the interreligious Christian-Muslim pilgrimage that was welcomed at the sanctuary in October 2025. For now, the FSSPX faithful intend to remain present at Lourdes, but their pilgrimage will no longer be able to take the same public form as in previous years. #newsPjxbelhyed
I am leaving Part 1 here The Resurrection of Christ Season 1. Episode 1 And this is the playlist for the other parts. Some are in French and others in Polish further down. The Film The Resurrection of Christ Monk Elijah (Clement, Disciple of the Apostle Peter – Volume III) The central theme of The Apocalypse, the third volume of the tetralogy Clement, Disciple of the Apostle Peter, is the Apostle John’s Revelation on the island of Patmos. Through the prism of such disturbing contemporary phenomena as the new world order, microchipping, gender ideology, heresy, idolatry and occultism, the book explores the meaning of apocalyptic symbols and imagery. One interesting aspect of the book is its prophetic nature. First published in Czech in 2019, the book highlighted dangerous means of global control and depopulation, such as microchipping, vaccination and digitalisation, which became a reality almost immediately in the near future (the Covid pandemic, artificial intelligence). Not only does …Mai

The Kyiv Independent Hundreds of people gathered in Kyiv to bid farewell to Oleksii Yukov, head of the Platsdarm body recovery group, following a service at St. Volodymyr’s Cathedral and a procession to Independence Square. Yukov died on Aug. 5 from wounds received during an exhumation mission on the front line in Donetsk Oblast. Yukov told the Kyiv Independent on Aug. 2 that he had repatriated over 10,000 bodies. His death highlights the growing risks faced by volunteer search teams working under constant drone surveillance to recover bodies near the front lines. Without this work, many soldiers risk remaining permanently listed as missing in action, leaving families without answers or the chance to hold a proper burial. 92K views · 693 reactions | Hundreds of people …
On 23 August, at Holy Family Church in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, a woman knelt at the Communion rail during Communion. Just as the priest was about to give her Communion, she stood and handed him a flower. Despite Communion being distributed by intinction, she grabbed the Host and then took the chalice used for intinction, drank from it, and threw it onto the floor before leaving the church with an escort. The priest immediately purified the area where the Precious Blood had been spilled.
A disturbing incident occurred during Sunday Mass at Holy Family Church in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, where a woman disrupted Communion by grabbing and dropping the vessel used for intinction, spilling some of the Precious Blood.
Since they have a video of the Mass, hand it over to the police and send copies to the news media. If it were just the humans being disrespected, they could choose to "grin and bear it" but since God was profaned, the woman needs to be tracked down and punished.
Like who cares? Lots of machines can do things humans can't - fly, drive, . They seem determined to get us to accept them with the same rights as we have - without any responsibility.
