Leo XIV Confirms November Return to Peru

Leo XIV intends to visit Peru during the first half of November, Peruvian President José María Balcázar announced following a private audience with the Pope.
Peru would be the centerpiece of a broader South American tour that may also include Argentina and Uruguay.
Although the Vatican has not yet published an official itinerary, Balcázar said Leo XIV personally confirmed that he plans to be in Peru in November.
The proposed itinerary would include Lima, Chiclayo, Piura, Pucallpa and Cusco, with additional visits to Puno and Iquitos also under consideration.
The visit could last between eight and ten days.
Balcázar said Peru has offered helicopters to assist the Pope in reaching remote towns in northern Peru and the Amazon region, reflecting his desire to visit as many local communities as possible.
Argentina, the homeland of Francis, was never visited by him during his thirteen years as pope. A visit by Leo XIV would mark the first papal trip to Argentina since 1987.

St. Vincent Ferrer ~ A001- Dominica I Adventis Domini Sermo 1

The seasonal winter sermons of the preacher and proclaimer of the divine Word, interpreter of sacred scripture and most subtle professor, Saint Vincent, confessor of Valencia, of the Order of Preachers, happily begin.

"And pride is the foundation of all sins. V.g. Why is someone avaricious? It is from pride, because he does not wish to obey the precept of God saying, "You should not lust," or "not commit thefts" etc. Why is someone lustful? Is it not from pride, because he does not wish to obey the precept, "You shall not commit fornication?" Same for gluttony and the other sins. Authority: "Pride is the beginning of all sin," (Sir 10:15). Therefore Christ comes in great humility to reform us, like a servant in administering to us the works of redemption through human incarnation."

Catholic bishops of England and Wales react to reintroduction of assisted suicide bill

The Catholic bishops of England and Wales are “deeply disappointed” that an assisted suicide bill will again be back in Parliament, calling instead for improvements in palliative care.
On Wednesday, Labour member of Parliament (MP) Lauren Edwards
reintroduced the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, which passed a vote in the House of Commons in June 2025 but failed to pass the House of Lords when it ran out of time in April.
The bill today received its first reading in the House of Commons, officially marking the return of the bill in Westminster.
Responding to the news that it would be reintroduced, in a June 15 statement Archbishop John Sherrington of Liverpool, lead bishop for life issues at the Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, expressed his deep disappointment and criticized the “flawed” legislation, saying: “The Catholic Church opposes this bill in principle and joins with many other people of faith and none in arguing that we should not cross this watershed.” …

Putin promised not to kill Zelensky – former Israeli PM

The Ukrainian leader sought assurance before posting a video declaring he wasn’t “afraid of anyone,” Naftali Bennett claims
Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has revealed to Israeli media that Russian President Vladimir Putin told him that he would not have Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky assassinated. Bennett flew to Moscow Zelensky's request, who declared that he was “not afraid of anyone,” only after Putin assured his safety.
Bennet traveled to Moscow as Israeli PM last March, in a failed bid to broker an early ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, he told Israel’s Channel 12 on Saturday.
With Russian forces surrounding Kiev, Zelensky was reportedly hiding in an undisclosed location at the time of the meeting. Bennett told the channel that the Ukrainian leader had tasked him with securing an assurance from Putin that he would not be targeted for assassination.
“Are you going to kill Zelensky?” Bennett asked Putin. The Russian president said that he would not, …

State Infiltration of the Church in Vietnam

The report Freedom of Worship: A False Reality in Vietnam was released in June 2026 by the International Christian Concern (ICC). It shows efforts by Vietnam's Communist Party to influence the Catholic Church through indirect means.
ICC is a Washington, D.C.-based "non-denominational" human rights advocacy nonprofit founded in 1995 to document the persecution of Christians worldwide.
The report argues that the Catholic Church occupies a unique position among Vietnam's religious communities. Unlike most other recognized religious organizations, it is not directly integrated into a state-controlled structure.
Three Control Strategies
According to the report, the Communist Party employs three principal strategies to control religious communities, drawing on a 2023 analysis by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF).
The first, substitution, involves outlawing historically independent religious organizations and replacing them with state-controlled alternatives, …Ossotina

Why Leo XIV’s Encyclical Is Contradictory on Just War

The encyclical Magnifica Humanitas is internally inconsistent in its treatment of just war theory. That writes Manfred Spieker, emeritus professor of Christian Social Sciences, on Herder.de on June 16. While he generally praises Leo XIV’s reflections on artificial intelligence, he challenges the encyclical’s call to “overcome” the traditional doctrine of just war.
Magnifica Humanitas, drawing on Fratelli Tutti, offers two reasons for moving beyond just war theory: first, that nearly every war in recent decades has been presented as justified, and second, that modern weapons make war an unacceptable solution.
Spieker finds neither argument convincing. Regarding the first, he writes: “If everyone who wages a war appeals to this doctrine, it remains necessary to examine who is justified in doing so and who is not.”
He adds: “Those who falsely invoke this doctrine will face criticism or rejection. But that does not make the doctrine of just war obsolete.”
Nor do modern weapons invalidate …Ossotina

Worse than Germany: Argentine Priest Celebrates World Cup at Eucharist: On June 15, parish priest Carlos Costale of Río Cuarto, Argentina, posted a video showing World Cup fan props used during an Eucharist celebration. One of the props was a paper bus labeled “La Scaloneta,” the popular nickname for Argentina’s national football team under Lionel Scaloni. The parish priest is known for his theatrical liturgical experiments, including mixing a fruit salad during a Pentecost Eucharist.

RILEY GAINES ON BIRTH CONTROL: “So I was on birth control in college, but only because — as a swimmer — you can imagine it’s not exactly comfortable to bleed in a sport like that. The bathing suits are pretty revealing, and we’re in the water six hours a day. “I got on it specifically to stop my period entirely. Looking back now at 26, if I could go back and tell 18- or 19-year-old me anything, I would absolutely tell her not to do that. “I just had a pretty comprehensive health screening — blood work, cancer screenings, the works. One of the only things the doctors flagged was that I had super low bone density. I thought that was strange because I lift weights, which should promote bone growth. So I asked the doctor what could cause it. “She asked if I had been on birth control that let me skip my periods. When I said yes, she told me that was likely the cause. "Bishops’ Consecration" at Papa Stronsay

Fr Michael Mary of the Transalpine Redemptorist group at Papa Stronsay, Scotland, will receive an unauthorized “episcopal consecration” on July 25. The community announced this on June 18 on the monastery's blog.
The candidate is the founder and superior of the group. He is rumoured to foster a personality cult around himself.
In 2025, the group rejected the post-Vatican II hierarchy and adopted a sedevacantist delusion.
The episcopal consecration is scheduled to be performed by Bishop Pierre Roy, a Canadian sedevacantist bishop. He will be assisted by Bishops Rodrigo Ribeiro da Silva of Brazil and Fernando Altamira of Argentina.
All three "bishops" had previous ties to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX). Two were ordained priests within the Fraternity, while the third was ordained by Bishop Williamson.

Bishop Pierre Roy, an independent traditionalist bishop, aligns with traditional Sedevacantist views. He and other figures who adhere to these specific theological positions generally maintain that Pope Pius XII was the last recognized and validly elected pope.
Let's look at the Catholic Documents:
Pope Pius XII (Eugenio Maria Giuseppe Giovanni …
Was Pope Pius XII validly elected as Pope - YES
Was he the successor of Saint Peter - NO
He was the successor of REBIBA
Bishop Roy talks about the seat of Peter as being vacant, Leo is infact a validly elected Pope, that also has a Documented Apostolic Line of succession to REBIBA, not Saint PETER.
Pope Leo XIV (Robert Francis Prevost) …
Does the SSPX have a Apostolic Line of Succession back to Saint Peter - NOPE
it also goes back to REBIBA
Does any group out there have a documented Apostolic Line of Succession to Saint Peter.?......... The UGCC have a documented Apostolic Line to Saint Andrew
This validates Bishop Pierre Roy - Where's Peter? …Ossotina

Homosexual UK Couple Convicted of Murdering and Abusing Adopted Toddler

A former teacher and his homosexual partner, a financial sales manager, have been convicted at Preston Crown Court, Lancashire, of murdering and sexually abusing a toddler they were in the process of adopting.
Jamie Varley, 37, was found guilty of murder, two counts of assault by penetration, multiple counts of child cruelty, grievous bodily harm, and offences involving indecent images.
John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, was convicted of causing or allowing the death of a child, child cruelty, and sexual assault.
The victim was born on June 16, 2022, at Wythenshawe Hospital in Greater Manchester. Five days later, social services placed him with foster carers under an emergency order. His mother had a long criminal record, including a murder conviction in 1998.
Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley were approved as prospective adopters in January 2023, and the boy moved into their home in April 2023.
Prosecutors said the child was subjected to sustained abuse almost immediately after his placement. …Ossotina

Passion of Christ, Passion of the Church

Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira
Legionario, April 6, 1941 - Excerpts (*)
Parish’s church in Altötting (Bayern)
Amidst the current sufferings of the Mystical Body of Christ, our Holy Mother Church, presently under fierce attack from internal and external enemies, let us follow some thoughts of Prof. Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira, who always brought Our Lord’s Passion, an event of 2000 years ago, into current focus during his Lenten lectures.
There is often a defect in our meditations that diminishes their effectiveness. It is to ponder episodes from the life of Our Lord without linking them to our lives and to what happens around us.
Accordingly, we are shocked at the inconsistency and ingratitude of the Jews, when, shortly after having honored Jesus with a solemn procession as Savior they crucified Him with a hatred many find hard to understand.
The Jews of 2000 years ago, when Our Lord walked the earth, are not alone in exhibiting this ingratitude and inconsistency. Still today, in the hearts …Ossotina
