Netanyahu: "Jesus Christ has no advantage over Genghis Khan. Because if you are strong enough, ruthless enough, powerful enough, evil will overcome good."
Pope Leo I met Attila the Hun in 452 AD to negotiate peace and prevent the invasion of Rome. Their meeting is historically significant as it showcased Leo's diplomatic efforts and faith, which ultimately led to Attila withdrawing his forces from Italy.
Canon 188§4 states: "All offices shall be vacant ipso facto, by tacit resignation in the following cases… (4) If a cleric has publicly lapsed from the Catholic Faith." Marxist Robert Prevost: “Everything we hear about synodality today, we were already doing in Chulucanas in the 80s.” Some bad Catholics—who cover for the apostate Robert Prevost—are under a diabolical spell; Saint Paul warned us that this affliction befalls those who love falsehood more than truth. Having chosen to defend iniquity, they will not be saved. As Saint Alphonsus Liguori explained, it is sin—particularly the sin of lust—that produces spiritual blindness and obstinacy. For example, this apostate—Pyotr Piotr Popovsky Petrovsky, an accomplice of the apostate Robert Prevost (who runs a blog)—believes that Prevost was a superhuman being, capable of committing an act of public apostasy in rebellion against God and subsequently becoming Pope, without incurring any of the automatic excommunications that the Church …Okuninzi

Today, Leo XIV has appointed Fr Alfonso María Bauer Ormazábal SDB as the new Bishop of Florida, Uruguay. Born in Montevideo in 1968 and ordained in 1996, Monsignor Bauer is a Salesian with experience in formation and youth ministry. He holds a Licentiate in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome. He served as provincial of the Salesians in Uruguay from 2018 to 2024. Monsignor Bauer has published many short videos on social media in which he is dressed in civilian clothing (see the screenshots below). His themes align with Pope Francis's rhetoric about hospitality, love, listening, and closeness. The picture above, taken in February 2023, shows him seated while presiding over the Eucharist. He uses profane glass jugs and baskets. This Eucharist was held during a meeting of 80 "evangelizers" from Salesian institutes in Uruguay. They discussed "the new paradigm of integral ecology presented by Pope Francis in the apostolic exhortation Laudato Si." Another example …Okuninzi

Today, Leo XIV published a message celebrating the tenth anniversary of Francis’ document Amoris Laetitia, which, according to footnote 351, "allowed" adulterers to grab Holy Communion. Leo XIV writes: “Pope Francis offered the universal Church a luminous message of hope regarding conjugal love and family life, which was the fruit of three years of synodal discernment [...]: the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia.” He thanks the Lord for “the stimulus that has encouraged reflection and pastoral conversion in the Church” and asks God “for the courage to persevere on this path”. According to Leo XIV, ‘Amoris Laetitia’ has “strengthened the Church’s doctrinal and pastoral commitment to the service of young people, married couples and families”. He adds: “Amoris Laetitia offers valuable teachings that we must continue to examine today.” Leo XIV even cites the controversial Chapter 8, "inviting the Church to accompany, discern and integrate fragility (cf. AL chap. VIII)" and wants …Okuninzi
Did St. Joseph Build It? The Mystery of the Loretto Chapel Staircase The Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is famous for its 'Miraculous Staircase,' a 33-step spiral staircase with two complete turns and no visible support. According to legend, the Sisters of Loretto prayed to St. Joseph for a way to access the choir loft, and a mysterious carpenter arrived, built the staircase, and vanished without payment. The staircase is made entirely of wood without nails or fasteners, and the type of wood used does not match the rest of the chapel. Its construction continues to puzzle engineers and architects, as it appears to defy structural logic. Video: Kate Howard
Christianity in the Philippines When we talk about the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines in 1521, we are talking about a truly monumental moment in history, not just for the islands but for the entire story of the Church in Asia. This was the moment when the Gospel was publicly proclaimed on Philippine soil in a formal and liturgical way, through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. It was not just an encounter between explorers and local communities. It was the beginning of the visible planting of the Catholic Faith in the archipelago. In 1521, the expedition led by Ferdinand Magellan arrived in the islands. At that time, the Philippines was not a single unified nation but a collection of communities with different cultures, languages, and religious practices. Some regions, especially in parts of Mindanao and nearby areas, had been influenced by Islam through trade and interaction. At the same time, many other communities still practiced indigenous religious traditions. So it is …Okuninzi
