Video from inside Mar Kiriakos Church shows extensive vandalism, with sacred spaces damaged and church property destroyed. The incident has left the local community mourning the incident, which is another blow to a village that has endured years of instability and displacement. As investigations continue, the faithful hold on to a message carried through centuries: a wounded church can still be a living testimony of faith.
Churches in communion with Rome Who are the Christians of Iraq? A long history … After periods of Mongol, Turkoman, and Safavid rule, Mesopotamia fell under the Ottomans, whose empire lasted until the First World War in the early 20th century. It was during the Ottoman period that the East and West Syriac Churches – the Chaldean Catholic Church and the Syriac (or Syrian) Catholic Church, respectively – were formed. The Syriac Catholic Church was created when a Jacobite patriarch united with Rome in the 18th century. The Bishops who did not enter into full communion with Rome formed the Syriac Orthodox Church. Today’s Chaldean Catholic Church dates from 1830, when the historical patriarchate of the Church of the East was united with an earlier Chaldean branch created in the 17th century. An even-earlier Chaldean union from the 16th century subsequently separated from Rome and developed into what are today the Assyrian Church of the East and the Ancient Church of the East. The problems they are causing Russia is never ending. And Russia still remains human and not destroy the world for all the abuse they give them for many decades.
@giveusthisday Everyone and anyone who wants to wipe the Russian people out. NATO, EU, US Remember when lindsey graham said, best money we ever spent killing Russians. They said that zelensky edited it. When in fact he did say it. But said two different things at two different times. But he did say it. They have 40 or 50 biolabs in Ukraine. That's 1/3 of the labs in the world. Placed in Ukraine. I posted about it as well as others. They are there specifically to kill and wipe out the Russian people. It's all been planned long ago. At first to destroy and break up Russia. Now it's just to wipe them out. All because President Putin AND the Russian people will not join the ranks of evil. I just posted a bit about it about a half hour ago. Father Gruner and John Vennari. But we know those things will never happen. But they with their hatred and pride think they can.

The report Freedom of Worship: A False Reality in Vietnam was released in June 2026 by the International Christian Concern (ICC). It shows efforts by Vietnam's Communist Party to influence the Catholic Church through indirect means. ICC is a Washington, D.C.-based "non-denominational" human rights advocacy nonprofit founded in 1995 to document the persecution of Christians worldwide. The report argues that the Catholic Church occupies a unique position among Vietnam's religious communities. Unlike most other recognized religious organizations, it is not directly integrated into a state-controlled structure. Three Control Strategies According to the report, the Communist Party employs three principal strategies to control religious communities, drawing on a 2023 analysis by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF). The first, substitution, involves outlawing historically independent religious organizations and replacing them with state-controlled alternatives, …Okuninzi
The Alps ignite with a promise made to God 230 years ago | Shalom World News As darkness descends over the majestic mountains of South Tyrol, northern Italy, the Alps are transformed into a breathtaking prayer of light. Thousands of flames rise from the peaks, forming glowing crosses, hearts, and Sacred Heart symbols — a powerful testimony of faith that has endured for more than two centuries. This extraordinary tradition, known as the Herz-Jesu-Feuer (Sacred Heart Fire), had its origin in 1796 during the turmoil of the Napoleonic Wars. Facing uncertainty and fear, the people of Tyrol placed their hope in the Sacred Heart of Jesus, making a solemn vow: if God protected their land and their people, they would honor His Sacred Heart with fires on the mountains every year. They survived — and they kept their promise. Every Sacred Heart Sunday, families and communities climb into the Alps at sunset, carrying torches and arranging them with devotion into symbols that shine across the valleys …Okuninzi
Leo XIV intends to visit Peru during the first half of November, Peruvian President José María Balcázar announced following a private audience with the Pope. Peru would be the centerpiece of a broader South American tour that may also include Argentina and Uruguay. The proposed itinerary would include Lima, Chiclayo, Piura, Pucallpa and Cusco, with additional visits to Puno and Iquitos also under consideration. The visit could last between eight and ten days. Balcázar said Peru has offered helicopters to assist the Pope in reaching remote towns in northern Peru and the Amazon region, reflecting his desire to visit as many local communities as possible. Argentina, the homeland of Francis, was never visited by him during his thirteen years as pope. A visit by Leo XIV would mark the first papal trip to Argentina since 1987. In Uruguay, …Okuninzi

MessaInLatino.it published today the spiritual testament of Cardinal Camillo Ruini, signed on June 3, 2016. He died on June 16, 2026 at the age of 95. Cardinal Ruini's testament is a personal reflection on his life, giving thanks to God for his family, vocation, and ministry in the Church. More than 90% of the sentences are written in the first person singular, with verbs such as ringrazio ('I thank'), confesso ('I confess'), ho cercato ('I have tried'), and sono stato ('I have been') making Ruini the grammatical subject in nearly every sentence. The testament provides a detailed account of his family life, his work as a priest and bishop, his collaborations, and his public importance. A sympathetic reading of his frequent use of first-person pronouns (I, me, my, mine) might suggest that spiritual testaments traditionally belong to an autobiographical and introspective literary genre. The paragraph that focuses least on himself is the best one, dealing with Pope Francis's pontificate: …Okuninzi

Leo XIV is considering declaring all members of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) schismatics, TribuneChrétienne.com reported on 19 June, citing anonymous sources: "According to several observers familiar with the matter, the document currently being prepared at the Vatican could go much further than some imagine. It would not merely acknowledge a rupture affecting the bishops or superiors of the FSSPX. The repercussions could extend to the entire structure, including its approximately 700 priests, seminaries, apostolates and the faithful who regularly attend its chapels around the world." The bishops' ordinations are scheduled for 1 July, with Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta as the principal consecrator and Bishop Bernard Fellay as the co-consecrator. For weeks, rumours about the excommunication of all members of the FSSPX have persisted on various Catholic news blogs and among journalists. #newsYcngrgqppe
What would the excommunication mean? The excommunication in 1988 of the four bishops was lifted by Benedict without the bishop's admitting wrongdoing. Francis later gave the SSPX faculties for hearing confessions. What did that 1988 excommunication really mean, and what will this one mean?
Peru President announces Pope Leo visit after Vatican meeting | Shalom World News ope Leo met with the President of the Republic of Peru, José María Balcázar Zelada, at the Vatican, holding continued discussions for strengthening ties between the Holy See and Peru. The visit would carry a special significance, as Pope Leo has a deep connection with Peru, having been ordained bishop of Chiclayo and later obtaining Peruvian citizenship in 2015.

Fatima has never shielded them, she has never rescued them, she has never advocated for them, she has never cried for them, she has never protected them, she has never even mentioned them. If you are looking for the authentic protectress of the unborn look to Rachel in Matthew 2 :16-18 16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men. 17 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying: 18 “A voice was heard in Ramah, Lamentation, weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, Refusing to be comforted, Because they are no more.” This is an unacknowledged double miracle in the Bible. Rachel was raised alive by God to mourn the infants 600 years after she died in childbirth. With lamentation, weeping, and great mourning …Okuninzi
06/18/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. Many expected that Iran would go the way of Iraq, Libya, and Syria upon the start of the Third Gulf War, which is why the outcome of this conflict can be described as the upset of the century. Iran didn’t destroy Israel like it’s long threatened to do, nor did it sink any US ships like its media surrogates hyped supporters up to expect, but both – and especially Israel – were left badly battered. This is how Andrzej Korybko – an American political analyst living in Moscow who specialises in the global transition to a multipolar system – begins his Tuesday article on korybko.substack.com: Here’s How Iran Pulled Off The Upset Of The Century. The five points outlined in this analysis provide an excellent summary of Iran’s astute military-political strategy. Yesterday, at the conclusion of the G7 summit in Evian, France, Trump told reporters: Our [oil] reserves will be depleted in about four weeks. I have described Iran’s strategy as “excellent …

Mainly those from the SSPX. Not only to escape persecution but because Russia is the only country in the world that fights against all evils trying to destroy the world. In one of the videos Father Gruner says something I have tried to explain. Especially to one person more than once. ------- Our Lady is paving the way for The Consecration! She is preparing her by and with President Putin who brought the faith back to the people.
